A great blog article will sound natural and interesting. It should entice your readers right from the beginning. Inspire them to read more. Encourage them to spread the word and sign up to your email list. It should also be optimized to be SEO-friendly, so that users will discover it easily. But how do you achieve this?
10 key aspects to writing a good and successful blog post
1. A Engaging & Rich Keywords
I talk about titles often and they’re super crucial. It is essential to ensure that your title is engaging for your readers – it’s must grab the attention of your readers and encourage them to keep reading. And it should include the keyword you’ve chosen (see my blog post on the importance of SEO to get more details about keywords).
Sounds daunting? It’s actually much easier than you imagine. I think that the key to a successful article is to have a great idea from the beginning. What would your target audience like to know about? What are the keywords and subjects that work best with these? What do people ask you for more information on?
If you focus on your reader and creating a blog post that they’d like to read, creating an engaging headline is easy. Keep your writing simple. If the subject is engaging it isn’t necessary to be fancy or clickbaity about your title. Your readers will already be active.
Also be sure that it has your key words or keywords!
2. A Clear & Attention Searching First Paragraph
Your first paragraph must contain 3 components:
- your keyword that basically is repeating your name and in a more natural manner
- an overview of your blog article You want visitors to know in a glance the content that they would like to continue going through
- Some kind of hook basically address the question your reader asks: “What’s in it for me What’s the benefit?
The opening paragraph has all the above elements. I reiterate my key phrase , ‘essential components of a well-written blog post Then, I succinctly outline what the article is about and most importantly, I inform my readers that I have a worth to you that you will discover how to write a blog article that which your readers will enjoy and it will be a success in search engines. That’s a very effective hook!
Another thing you need to do, if feasible (because it can cut significantly on the amount of work you have to do) is to create your first paragraph something that you can duplicate and then paste onto social media.
You can see above that I could very easily take that whole first paragraph and copy it into Facebook/Twitter/Instagram and it would work pretty well.
3. Content That Readers Want to Read
This is the most important aspect of the success of your blog post. Keep the readers’ needs in your mind while you write. What do they want from your post? Are they looking for your complete life story, or just a bit of random nonsense or a thorough description (they could actually do, based on your readers! I don’t know the readers but you learn what they are looking for.) Do they want to get right at the core and express the information they require? Or maybe both. brief introduction that personalizes the topic and then get into the business of it.
It’s the same for length. What type content do visitors interact with? Do they prefer simple and concise posts or do they prefer longer, more in-depth.
Are you unsure of what your readers would like to hear? Take a look at your most-viewed blog posts, both those that garner the most views as well as those that have more shares. Take a look at blog posts that garner many comments. What do they share?
If you’re just beginning, try writing various posts and then see which ones work the best. Also, look at other bloggers within your niche What are they up to?

Never create a blog post with no internal hyperlinks. You’re missing out on a huge chance! Consider it. If your readers click an image on your blog post and proceed to read one blog post more that is double your page’s views!
Keep it pertinent and natural. Internal links should be ideally linked to additional information about the same subject, or provide information in greater in depth. Also, they should provide additional information that you believe the reader may be interested in, such as your category page on the topic or a post that shows the next steps to take.
Don’t overdo it and include hyperlinks everywhere or you’ll make your readers insane. Make it natural and be prudent. What would be the most useful? Think about yourself in the reader’s in their shoes… What would I like to read about the next time? What would I want to know more about?
There are times when it is appropriate to utilize external hyperlinks. Maybe another website has more details on this subject. Maybe you’d like to share the source of the information you are referring to. Maybe you’d like to show how your readers can buy the product you mentioned in your article. By sharing links to relevant external sites it makes your blog post more beneficial to your readers. It will also bring the credibility of your content for both readers and search engines appreciate this!

In the age of social media making it easier for people to leave comments on your blog posts is a bit more difficult however if you create appealing blog posts and post it on a good basis people are likely to leave comments. A trick that can help is to ask an inquiry. In this case, I could also ask
“What are your thoughts? Have I covered all the elements of a blog post that is successful? What can you suggest to make it more ?”
It provides people with something to respond to, and also gives them the right for them to disapprove of me, or mention something I’ve not thought of.
