Apple’s Safari is the second browser to hit one billion users worldwide: Apple’s Safari browser currently has 1 billion users, which makes up 20% of the people on the Internet. Atlas VPN conducted a survey to find the most used browsers in the world and found that Google Chrome was the first and Safari was the second.
The numbers used in the survey are from the Global States and InternetWorldStats, unanimously concluding that Google Chrome has 3.3 billion users worldwide, accounting for 64% of the total browser market. Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Samsung Internet follow Safari right behind.
Atlas VPN believes that the popularity of browsers is due to their wide range of availability and security features, but in Chrome, users were fascinated by its “application drive design.” People will try other Google services because it owns many popular apps like YouTube.

Safari’s success is due to its availability on the iPhone and Mac and security features such as intelligent track protection that prevent attackers from tracking people on all websites.
Microsoft Edge and Samsung Internet are similar to Safari except for additional security features. Its popularity and usage increased only when it was set as the default browser on each device and forced to be adopted by users.
Firefox has security extensions that protect people from malware and the Secure Shell network protocol that guarantees secure communication between devices.
