Official ColorOS 12 upgrades for the Oppo F17 & Oppo A73 have begun. The latest Android 12 update is currently being released in India and Vietnam.

Official announcements on the Oppo community state that the update will arrive with firmware version C.09 to all four devices. It is worth noting that the company disclosed that these devices had been in beta testing since April. These updates were stable within two months. This is still much better than Realme’s beta pgroam, which can take many months to achieve stability.
It’s possible to wait for the update to roll out, but it will happen over the air. These OTA software updates are being pushed in batches. This means that updates might take some time to reach all eligible phones. You can still try your luck by going to Settings >> Software Updates menu. Companies also tend to take it slow in the initial batch to ensure that there are no critical bugs that were not discovered during the testing phase.
