Club Career

Iversen began his career at the academy of Gorging LIF. After that, he joined the most prestigious regional club, Esbjerg, when he was just 12 years old. He joined English Club Leicester City in January 2016 and signed a contract for June 2019.

Iversen was loaned for EFL League Two side Oldham Athletic in July of 2018, on the same day that signing a new four-year contract with Leicester. The player made his professional debut on the opening date of the 2018-19 season playing with Milton Keynes Dons.

Iversen played a key role in helping Oldham to win an FA Cup “giant kill” against Premier League side Fulham, making a crucial save in a 2-1 victory. Iversen was to play 49 times in all competitions with The Latics.
