Genreau was a debutant in the match against Perth Glory in the 80th minute of the game at the age of 17. 

Lending for PEC Zwolle

On June 26, Genreau received a loan from PEC Zwolle for the 2018-19 season. There, Genreau reunited with the former Melbourne City coach John van “t Schip.
