Foodpanda partners with Cordoba Logistics & Ventures Limited to provide bikes for riders

Foodpanda partners Cordoba Logistics & Ventures Limited, (CLVL), have signed an MOU under which CLVL will assist foodpanda riders to acquire motorcycles on an economical basis in order to be able to use the platform.

The Foodpanda partners with Cordoba Logistics is open to all national foodpanda riders, allowing them to take part in the growing eCommerce sector. It creates sustainable economic opportunities and drives financial inclusion.

This program aligns well with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 8 and focuses on “decent work” and economic growth. Once launched, it will allow for more flexible work opportunities in the community.

To scale the pilot project across Pakistan in the coming months, it will be launched in June.

Muntaqa Peracha is the Managing Director of food panda Pakistan. She stated that opportunities like these “help fulfill the ever-growing need for creating avenues for livelihood for the youth.”

“This strategic partnership will implement SDG-8. It will promote inclusive, sustainable economic growth, create flexible economic opportunities, and decent employment for all. “We hope this initiative will be a stepping stone for even greater collaborations among both the organizations,” stated Zeshan Afzal (Chairman CLVL).
