Based on anonymous reports who are familiar with the situation, Apple is urging its suppliers to accelerate production to ensure that it stays on schedule with its production schedules.

Apple’s main sources in China comprise Foxconn, Pegatron, and Luxshare Precision Industry. These two firms struggle with the slow opening of factories in Shanghai since the region is suffering from a renewed outbreak of COVID-19. it is a big reason to iPhone 14 is delayed As per estimates, the manufacturing interruption could cause Apple more than $8 billion in revenue.

According to Apple’s normal timeline for development according to their usual development schedules, the Cupertino giant is expected to complete the verification testing (EVT) stage for new iPhone models by the end of June. But, the latest report indicates that one of the iPhone 14 is delayed by three weeks.

Apple plans to start production in September, however, it is unclear how these changes influence the launch date. Apple typically announces new iPhones at the end of September however, production delays could push the release date further back to October.
