Jesus Gallardo Vasconcelos was born 15 Aug 1994. He is a Mexican professional soccer player who plays as a left-back in Liga MX Club Monterrey, and for the Mexican national football team.
Club careers
Youth
Jesus Gallardo began his professional career with Once Hermanos at age 15. He later switched to Jaguares de la 48 in 2011 and was eventually noticed by Club Universidad Nacional. From there, in 2013, , he joined Pumas youth school, and successfully passed through the U-20 squad and Pumas Morelos.
UNAM
In 2014, Jesus Gallardo was eventually promoted to the first team by coach Guillermo Vazquez. Jesus Gallardo scored his first goal with UNAM in a Copa.
W Connection F.C. scored a brace for him on 21/11/2016. On 21 November 2016, he scored a brace against the W Connection F.C.
On 9 August 2017, he scored the tying goal during stoppage. This occurred during an Apertura 2017. Copa MX group-stage match against Monterrey.
Monterrey
On 29 May 2018, Jesus Gallardo joined Monterrey. He would make his debut with the team on 21 July 2018 as a starter against Pachuca, winning 1-0. On 29 September, he would score his first goal with Monterrey, scoring in the 74th minute in a 3-0 win over Tijuana. On 20 October.
Jesus Gallardo scored the decisive goal against Pachuca in the shootout of the Apertura 2018 Copa MX semifinals on 23 October.
Monterrey’s win in the 2019 CONCACAF Champions League Finals over Tigres UANL was a major victory. He was also named to the Team of the Tournament.

International career
Jesus Gallardo was first called up to the senior National Team to replace Angel Sepulveda, who was injured in matches against New Zealand. Gallardo made his international debut on October 8th as a starter in New Zealand’s 2-1 victory.
Jesus Gallardo, a member of the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup and was called up on 28 June 2017 to take part in the, where he played in all four games except their semi-final loss against Jamaica.
Jesus Gallardo made it into Mexico’s preliminary 28man squad for 2018. Gallardo also received a yellow ticket in the 13th minute of Mexico’s match against Sweden for elbow contact with OlaToivonen.
Jesus Gallardo was included in Gerardo Martino’s preliminary list for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup. He was then added to the final roster. Martino declared Gallardo the best match player.
