The State of Qatar has been selected by the Asian Football Confederation to hold its seventh medical conference, which is slated to take place from March 2–6, 2023.

The Asian Football Confederation, the International Football Association, and the European Football Association are among the organizations that will send representatives to the AFC conference, which will be held under the theme “Football and Sports Medicine Celebrating Diversity,” according to a statement on the Federation’s official website.

Additionally, more than 100 international experts in sports medicine and specialized sciences will also attend. The chairman of the Asian Football Confederation’s medical committee, Dr. Gurcharan Singh, will be one of the conference speakers, he claimed.
Along with his knowledge of more than 150 sports-related issues, he is regarded as an authority on anti-doping programs and sports medicine. There will be additional experts and senior speakers, and the 7th AFC Conference Qatar 2022 organizing committee has invited attendees to contribute to the scientific program by submitting abstracts or presenting free papers.
AFC Medical Conference
Since its inception in 1995, the AFC Med-Conference has grown significantly, becoming one of the most significant scientific and AFC conferences in Asia, with the 2019 edition in Chengdu, China, witnessing the presence of more than a thousand attendees.
