Where will FIFA Teams stay, and train at Qatar World Cup 2022?

The Qatar World Cup 2022 starts on November 21. The FIFA final Match will take place on December 18.

The World Cup in Qatar will see three-quarters of the 32 FIFA Teams based within 10 km (six miles) of each other this year, according to football’s governing body.

Every FIFA Teams will be able to stay at the same hotel as in the previous tournaments and train together throughout the tournament.


Colin Smith, FIFA’s Chief Operating officer – World Cup, stated that players of every FIFA Teams will have more time for training and rest, while also being able to enjoy the excitement of the competition at closer quarters.

The tournament will be played in eight stadiums and the FIFA final match takes place on December 18.

FIFA stated that the accommodation options include hotels, villas, resorts, and non-hotel accommodations, such as residences for sports FIFA Teams and university housing.

“Limitation planning is a key factor in all our World Cup projects. Many of the renovated and built training sites will benefit local clubs, communities, and even beyond the tournament’s end. “The new hotels will also help Qatar’s expanding tourism industry after 2022,” Nasser Al-Khater (Qatar 2022 CEO) said.

Qatar is expected to host more than one million spectators for the tournament.
